Mission and Vision

The concept of CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORIES is a conceptual model as both a scientific-technological contribution of the LatinCampus Organization to develop STRATEGIC ALLIANCES: government-universities-industry for empower cities and regions from the appropriate use of the knowledge society, and, the virtual communities.

1980

2010

Brief historical background

The Cybersociety, or Society of Cyberspace already is not a utopia, is a strong global reality.

In 1980 Time Magazine considered that the "Man of the Year" should be the PC (personal computer), years later academically was considered that this had been the starting point for the DIGITAL AGE (ending the Industrial Age.) The Digital Age was characterized by the massive development of hardware, software, and telematic networks
Countries like Taiwan, Singapore, Finland, India, and Korea that did not transit through the Industrial Age, they became economic powers developing products and services of technological base for the DIGITAL AGE.
In 2010 Time Magazine chose as "Man of the Year" the founder of the Facebook the main Social Network on Internet. The history repeats itself, but now we can anticipate and declare unambiguously that we enter fully into the CYBERSOCIETY AGE, characterized by social networks, virtual communities, and without a doubt ... The Cybersocial Territories.

What will be the industries and economies that assumes the leadership in the Cybersociety?

Widely predicted by global economists, the second decade of XXI century will be the decade of Latin American countries, in this political-economic context, LatinCampus Organization presents the information society the concept of CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORIES, as an alternative sustainable and solidarity regional development, from produce goods and services that require the nascent Cybersociety.

Conceptual Model

A CIBERSOCIAL TERRITORY is an area; geographic, economic, or political, which is based in cyberspace and in the knowledge society to create regional development alternatives (sustainable and solidarity). Two (2) are the structural aspects of economic and technological model: first, training and second, production.

The assembly of a CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORY -for a region with  Digital-Territory infrastructure is developed in seven (7) phases:

  • Phase 1: Study Eligibility,
  • Phase 2: Cultural socialization and conscientization,
  • Phase 3: Strategic Alliances / Generation of Scientific Knowledge,
  • Phase 4: Strategic Alliances / Technologic Productivity,
  • Phase 5: Export-Dissemination of Scientific Knowledge,
  • Phase 6: Industrial Production, and
  • Phase 7: e-Commerce and global positioning.
  • Restart Cycle
This page outlines informally the main features of assembly and start production of a CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORY for Latin American population.

Case Study:

Academically in this page be reviews a Case Study that will serve the user / reader to clarify matters.

Fase 1: Study Eligibility.

LatinCampus makes visible to vital forces of the region (governmental, academic, guilds, and community) the training and production alternatives that are needing in Latin America and whose science and technology are available in Asia, especially: Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Currently we have available to Latin American of a model of development-regional-self-sustaining in context of CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORY with five (5) specific lines of action-production:

  1.  Intelligent Buildings (Domotics and Inmotics).
  2.  Educatronic (e-learning, e-training trainer-devices).
  3.  Bio-Mechatronics (Medical: Bio-controlled artificial limbs).
  4.  Bio-Technology Plant (Aloe).
  5.  Alternative energy (eolic, solar, hydrogen).

Case Study:

Fase 2: Cultural socialization and conscientization.

By learning processes -with pertinency: pedagogic, methodologic and didactic- of environments; scientific, technological, technical and / or socio-cultural, it is made mental immersion of the society and their communities in the CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORY concept, and in the line action-production.

Case Study:

Fase 3: Strategic Alliances / Generation of Scientific Knowledge.

It is required to establish strategic alliances between Local Universities (LU) and Asian Universities (AU) to offer academic programs -masters and doctoral degrees- in the scientifics areas and technological areas in the line of action-production.

Graduate programs with double degree (AU-LU) should be offered by virtual processes (educatronics) and have as target the professionals of CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORIES, making this a Territory of Specific Knowledge (in the line of action-production).

In the early years, these local professionals will benefit science and technology from abroad, over time and through educational processes of innovation, productivity and competitiveness, these local professionals will be GENERATORS of science and technology in the line of action-production.

Case Study:

Fase 4: Strategic Alliances / Technologic Productivity.

It is required to establish strategic partnerships between the Secundary Institutions or Technology Institutions (SIT) and the Knowledge Industry of Asia (KIA) to provide technical and technological programs in the areas of construction, implementation and operational action-production line.

The technical programs of degree (SIT-KIA) must be offered by virtual processes (educatrónics) and its target population of high school of the CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORY, transforming this in a territory of technologic production (in the line of action-production).

In the early years these High School graduates as technicians will benefit from foreign technology and techniques, over time and through propaedeutic educational processes will be local professionals in the line of action-production.

Case Study:

Fase 5: Export-Dissemination of Scientific Knowledge.

The products of global innovation and/or for Latin America require periods of sensitizacion and new professionals for their implementation.

Local universities should assume the task of making agreements with other Latin American universities to expand its scientific and technological work by exporting in virtual environments of their masters and doctoral programs in the lines of action-production.

The new professionals from other local cities and other Latin American countries will be those who demanding the products that will develop on the lines of action-production.

Only is required the export of professional programs (science and technology). Not is required the exportation of technical programs since they will be exporting "the trainer" of the product and the product, but not the production lines goal of the CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORY.

    Fase 6: Industrial Production.

Guilds -perhaps government-sponsored- accompanied by the Asian Knowledge Industry must implement the production lines, which produce and / or assembling the devices object mounting, where it is produced and / or assembled the device goal of the CYBERSOCIAL TERRITORY.
